At NoOneElse Law, we believe everyone deserves access to accurate legal information and support, even if they can’t afford private representation. While our firm does not take on pro bono cases, we want to help you find trusted organizations that provide free or low-cost legal assistance throughout Washington State.

The following resources offer a range of services, including advice lines, family court assistance, legal clinics, and advocacy programs.

Statewide Legal Aid

Northwest Justice Project (NJP)
The Northwest Justice Project provides free civil legal help to low-income individuals and families across Washington State. NJP handles a wide range of issues, including family law, housing, and public benefits.

CLEAR Hotline (Coordinated Legal Education, Advice and Referral)
CLEAR is a toll-free legal hotline for low-income Washington residents seeking advice or referrals for civil legal matters. You can reach CLEAR at 1-888-201-1014 Monday through Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Seniors age 60 or older can call 1-888-387-7111 for assistance through CLEARSr.

WashingtonLawHelp.org
WashingtonLawHelp offers free, plain-language guides, court forms, and self-help materials on topics such as divorce, parenting plans, child support, and protection orders. It’s a great starting point for those representing themselves in court.

Spokane County

Spokane County Family Court Facilitator’s Office
The Family Court Facilitator provides procedural guidance and help with completing and filing family law forms, including divorce, custody, and child support.

Inland Empire Legal Aid – Spokane County Bar Association
The Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) offers free legal clinics, advice sessions, and limited-scope representation for low-income residents of Spokane County.

YWCA Spokane Legal Advocacy
YWCA Spokane provides free legal advocacy, protection order assistance, and safety planning for survivors of domestic violence. Advocates can help prepare paperwork and accompany clients to court.

Pierce County

TacomaProBono Community Lawyers
TacomaProBono provides free civil legal services to low-income individuals in Pierce County. They assist with family law, protection orders, landlord-tenant issues, and other civil matters through advice clinics and limited representation.

Pierce County Family Law Facilitator
The Pierce County Family Law Facilitator offers assistance with family law forms, procedural information, and referrals to local legal and community resources.

Pierce County Law Library
Located in Tacoma, the Pierce County Law Library provides free access to legal materials, forms, and research tools. Staff can help you locate the resources you need, though they cannot give legal advice.

YWCA Pierce County Legal Services
YWCA Pierce County offers free legal advocacy and representation for survivors of domestic violence, including assistance with protection orders and family law cases involving safety and stability.

King County

King County Family Law Facilitator
The Family Law Facilitator’s Office helps individuals navigate family court procedures and complete the proper forms for divorce, custody, and child support cases.

Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP)
ELAP provides free legal aid and clinics for residents of East and North King County, with a focus on family law and domestic violence cases.

King County Bar Association Neighborhood Legal Clinics
The KCBA’s Neighborhood Legal Clinics offer free 30-minute consultations with volunteer attorneys across King County. Appointments are required and can be made through 211.

Advocacy & Statewide Support

Legal Voice
Legal Voice is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the legal rights of women and LGBTQ+ individuals in the Pacific Northwest. They provide legal education, publish self-help materials, and engage in policy advocacy to promote gender equity and family justice. Their online resources cover topics such as family law, parenting rights, domestic violence, and workplace protections.

Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV)
WSCADV connects individuals with local shelters, advocacy programs, and community resources statewide. The site also provides safety planning tools and educational materials about healthy relationships and legal protections.
